This notice explains how the agent2kb.com website handles information about visitors. It covers this website only. The agent2kb software runs on infrastructure that you choose and is described separately below.

Summary

• We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on this website.
• We do not ask you to create an account or fill in forms.
• Our hosting provider processes basic technical data (such as your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
• If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.

Information we process

Technical request data. When you visit, your browser sends standard information such as your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser type and the referring page. The website is delivered through Cloudflare's network, which processes this data to serve pages, keep the service secure and prevent abuse. We do not combine it with other data or use it to identify you.

Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include, and we use it to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information, use it for advertising, build profiles of visitors, or knowingly collect information from children.

The agent2kb software

agent2kb is self-hosted. When you run it, your content is stored in the storage you configure and sent only to the language-model provider you choose (or to none, if you run a local model). agent2kb does not send telemetry to us, and we have no access to your knowledge bases. The providers you configure process your data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Service providers

We use a small number of providers to run this website, such as our hosting and content delivery provider. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. Data may be processed in countries other than your own; where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer.

Retention

Technical request data is kept by our hosting provider for a limited period under its own retention policies. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping, after which they are deleted.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information about you, to object to or restrict its use, or to complain to a data protection authority. To make a request, email us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first.

Security

The website is served only over HTTPS with security headers, and it loads no third-party scripts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect the information we handle.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
